Let's Talk About Why YOU Shouldn't Vote For Obama! - THE FACTS [Oct. 28th, 2008|06:19 pm]

With the next Presidential Election exactly a week away, I thought I'd share some facts with those of you who feel you must vote for Obama. I believe that you are simply uninformed from watching too much ABC, NBC, and reading the ever-far-left New York Times. People are constantly supporting Obama as a bandwagon effect. I am here to tell you, you are simply uninformed. If Obama is elected, I fear for our country.

For starters, how many of you can count the times you've gotten a job - EMPLOYMENT - from a poor man? Poor men don't create jobs, the wealthy create jobs and the wealthy are the ones who hire people to work. Businesses create jobs. It is impossible to build an economy from "the ground up." Furthermore, Obama wants to tax business owners and corporations so that the result of their higher taxes is to spread the wealth to all the lazy asses who won't go and make something of themselves??

News Flash: If you start taxing businesses, costs on things you need in your every day life are only going to go up. For instance, if Shop Rite's taxes go up, the cost of running the store goes up, and in turn, your groceries. If you are a small business owner in Middle Class America, and your taxes on your business go up, so will the cost of running your business. Do you think you should just eat those extra costs? Or should you raise your prices?? All Obama wants to do is raise higher taxes for the rich people so the not-so-rich people will benefit from DOING NOTHING. That's fine if you're lazy I guess, but it's not fine with me.

Take Joe-The-Plumber for instance. He was out in his yard playing ball with his son when Obama was out campaigning. Joe had always wanted to ask a politician a question and since he was debating making a career move, he thought this was the perfect opportunity. He said [paraphrased] "Senator, Obama, I am a plumber and I'm considering buying the business from my boss, how will your policies effect me?" And Obama said "Well if you don't make more than $250,000, it will effect you very little." And Joe said "Well he currently brings in about $250,000-280,000 a year now." And Obama said "Well, it will make your taxes go up slightly then...but spread the wealth."

Yes, that's right.. he said SPREAD THE WEALTH. So your average Joe-Do-Gooder is supposed to stop doing well for himself because if he does he's going to have to SHARE IT with people who do nothing? Since when are we advocating people who do nothing, the have-nots of the world, if you will, the ability to keep doing nothing?! Can someone please explain that to me? Am I supposed to decrease my level of ambition because if I don't I'm going to have higher taxes on my earnings and in turn have to share it with someone who played no part in it?

That brings me to my next point. Obama is a SOCIALIST. I'm not sure if you remember what a Socialist - or the Socialist Party - is, but let me tell you. Socialism is a baby word for COMMUNISM. You think because Obama is a great speaker that he's not a Socialist? Socialism is the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles. It is a system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole. That means you give most of your earnings to the government to share with all of the other people in the country. If you'd like to live like that, why don't you go live in Venezuela, under Hugo Chavez, and see how you like it.

John McCain will not raise your taxes in an economy like this. He plans to limit spending by putting a freeze on government spending at the level it's at right now. John McCain has been fighting for this country since he was young naval aviator - he is a true patriot. He has gone against his party many, many times...whereas Obama has always voted Democrat for all of his TWO YEARS in the Federal Government. It's not even two years - a year and a half of it has been spent running for President. Joe Biden himself said that the White House is no place for on-the-job training.

John McCain is his own person. He is not George Bush. For Obama to say that all McCain will do is continue Bush's policies, is a cop out. John McCain has acknowledged that things need to change. He will get us out of Iraq, and we will come out on top. All Obama will do by pulling us out of Iraq suddenly is leave America vulnerable for attack - and countries that truly hate Americans will attack.

Let's talk about Sarah Palin. Since when is it okay to bash a woman for all of her enormous accomplishments? If you are a feminist in any way, you should support Sarah Palin. She is a woman who has done more for herself than any other woman I know. She is a successful governor of a state. She has raised a family, and done it well. If you support women's rights, than why on earth wouldn't you want a successful woman in the White House? So many of you have expressed your support for Hillary Clinton - other than her obvious idiocy [staying with her husband when he publicly cheated on her???] and difference in party, how are her triumphs any better than Sarah Palins?

John McCain has been tested for the past thirty years, and has passed every test with flying colors. From his lengthy military career to his thirty years in the US Senate, McCain is ready to run this country and make the changes you want to see. Obama has never been tested and has nothing but flourishing words. Do you want to trust our country to someone who has never been tested? Who better than to be our country's Commander in Chief than someone with the experience of John McCain?

I hope you will do some more research over the next week and make an educated decision. If you still feel that Obama is the best choice for you, than so be it - that's the beauty of living in a free capitalist society.
